Hammerquist Casalegno awarded CM/GC role for Bigfork School
Hammerquist Casalegno was recently awarded the Construction Management/General Contractor contract for the Bigfork Elementary and Middle School’s site and building improvements.  Selection was made after the community approved a $5.5 Million bond in October.  

Work will consist of major site work improvements and building renovations and additions.  The site work includes enhancing the existing parking lot, establishing a new and prominent entry, and incorporating general safety improvements to the daily traffic flow conditions surrounding the school.  The building improvements consist of new general classrooms, science rooms, and an art room; larger cafeteria, kitchen area and restrooms; and new, identifiable administration offices.  

Hammerquist Casalegno is currently working with Architects West, Inc. located in Coeur d’Alene, ID, Constenius J. Architects in Whitefish, MT, numerous consulting engineers, and the Bigfork School District by providing pre-construction management services during the project’s drawing development process.  

Construction is slated to start in June 2007 and be completed prior to the start of the 2009-2010 school year.
