Safety Training Continues at Hammerquist Casalegno

After an 8 hour 1st Aid/CPR Training course at Hammerquist Casalegno’s office in March, the employees came back for a second round in April.    Ten employees were trained to properly use an Automated External Defibrillator, where the training received was supplemental to the training that was provided in March.   Each attendee was able to perform each step required with an AED through the use of a trainer AED, while partnering up with another who was performing CPR.  An AED analyzes a patient’s heart rhythm for abnormalities and, if necessary, allows the rescuer to deliver an electrical shock to the patient.  Hammerquist Casalegno carries an AED on select job sites.
