Safety Training Continues at Hammerquist Casalegno Office

This past Saturday Hammerquist Casalegno invited employees, subcontractors & their families to participate in a 1st aid/CPR Training course.  Fifteen individuals attended the eight hour class that consisted of adult, child, and infant CPR and first responder first aid, which discussed not only how to treat victims of emergencies, but also the signs, symptoms, and possible reasons behind the emergency.  Participants had hands on training, including the steps of CPR, bandaging bleeding wounds, and proper hygienic practices to use while treating a victim.  Though the class covered a wide array of topics and scenarios, the attendees were eager to stop and discuss the emergencies that are most likely to occur on a construction job site, such as electric shock, heat stroke, or frost bite.

The class was taught by local EMT's, Diane and Dan, who are certified trainers and whom have been in their line of work for over 19 years.
