Supervisor’s Training Course

Two superintendents from Hammerquist Casalegno’s crew attended a supervisor’s training course in Helena last week.  Both Mark Casalegno and Nate Nelson spent two full days in class learning about and discussing the roles, responsibilities, and challenges associated with their jobs.  The theme centered on oral and written communication and topics ranged from combining oral and written communication, communicating with groups, helping other people communicate with you, and getting your point across with the difficult person.  Mark was impressed and grateful at the relevance each class related to his daily routine.  Nate stated that he learned a lot and that the course also refreshed items that one needs to keep up on.  The class was presented by The Montana Contractor’s Association and The Associated General Contractor’s of America and was attended by other superintendents from around the state.
